Mick has been doing caricatures in the Boston area over 5 years at parties, corporate events, colleges, country clubs, and other events. Black and white drawings 15-20 an hour. Color 8-10. Available in the Boston metro area but also travels to CT, RI, and New Hampshire. Custom gift caricatures also available.
Mick Cusimano was born in Buffalo, New York. He was drawing cartoons and shoveling snow at an early age. His one caricature of his Spanish teacher nearly got him kicked out of high school. But he kept drawing, got a BS degree from Brockport State College and took 12 graduate courses at Harvard University.
His cartoons have been published in over 100 magazines in the USA, France, England, Germany, and Russia. One of his cartoons was found on a university bulletin board in Slovenia. His monthly cartoon in Imagine Magazine comments on Boston's filmmaking community.
In 2003 Mick was invited to exhibit a panting in the New Surrealists art show in Paris. Mick also had his animated movies shown in film festivals in Toronto, Portland, Woodstock, and Boston. Most recently he attended the National Caricaturist Network Conference in Orlando Florida.
